I have worked as a Writing Center tutor at the University of Miami since 2021 and teach both English and English for Speakers of Other Languages at a community college in Broward, Florida. I have taught English in a number of countries including Indonesia, Singapore and Greece and enjoy working with both native and non-native speakers of English. My classes are intended to stretch and challenge you, whilst being enjoyable and achievable, and you will always find me friendly and respectful.

I started playing pickleball on a cruise in 2020 and now play almost every day with a 3.5 DUPR rating. I've competed in numerous tournaments and love helping beginners and developing players build confidence while learning the game. I know how intimidating it can be to start, so my lessons are relaxed, encouraging, and fun! You'll learn the fundamentals, improve your skills, and leave every lesson excited to get back on the court!

RPPk/ DUPR Master Instructor, PPR Certified Pickleball Coach and DUPR Coach with a love for the game, a passion for coaching, and an enthusiasm for playing. With a Master's degree, I have spent 35 years teaching ELL, ESL, Writing, Reading Comp, Theater, Public Speaking and Debate. I retired in 2016 and continue to tutor. I have also written 6 children's books, a play and a movie script. I want to help you grow. It is my passion
