Hi, my name is Steven. I am just finishing up my 4 year degree from Lincoln Memorial University (NCAA D2) where I also played collegiate soccer at. Over the past 3 summers I have had the privilege of playing semiprofessional soccer for DC United u23, FC Carolina’s (USL2), and West Virginia United (USL 2). I have been private coaching for numerous years and was employed for a private training organization called HP Elite for the summer in 2022. I struggled with popping balls, my backhand returns and landing my serve consistently. Learned from Bacem that I don’t need to crush my serve and I just need to land it, now I almost land 100% of my serves. ✅ I also implanting his feedback on how to grip and position my paddle for backhand returns, how to be ready with my paddles at all times, how to anticipate the ball and read the play. I was also advised to focus on watching the opponent how they serve so I know what to expect and how to return it without hitting out or short. Bacem is still my coach and planning to continue to improve my game.
