John Hatcher has been teaching music for 27 years and playing guitar since he was 6 years old. He is passionate about music; guitar especially, and enjoys sharing that passion with his students. John teaches rock, metal, country, blues, bluegrass, jazz, and classical finger picking. He is most skilled at electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, beginner piano and drums. John is fluent in reading music as well as teaching tablature, scales, modes, phrasing, hand and finger dexterity, rhythm, chord progressions, and improvisation.
