Hi! I'm Alisa, a piano and music theory teacher with over 12 years of experience in education. I work with adults, teens, and kids from age six — whether you're learning from scratch, picking it up again after a break, or just looking to grow. I’ll help you build your routine step-by-step — from reading music and playing chords to improvising and understanding harmony. I also support songwriters, producers and vocalists to bring their ideas to reality, polishing it up Also i like to use additional tools such as Miro and Notion just to help you visualize a new information and keep the track of your progress in one place I’m here to guide you with patience, encouragement, and modern methodic that fits you!

My musical journey began at a young age in China, where I immersed myself in intensive piano performance and music theory training. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and minored in music theory. My passion for music then led me to New York City, where I received my Master's in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and another Master's in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. I'm pursuing advanced studies in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy at the University of Miami under the guidance of Professor Kevin Kenner. I've been fortunate to have my talents recognized in prestigious piano competitions, including the Xinghai Cup, ZhongSin International, Lira, Nice International, and International Young Pianist competitions. My performances have taken me to incredible venues worldwide, such as Carnegie Hall, the Musikverein in Vienna, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. I've also had the privilege of participating in international music festivals like the Amalfi Music Festival in Italy and the MusicAlp Academy in France. Beyond performing, I'm deeply committed to music education. I've taught at the Beijing Special Education School and Beijing Tuanjiehu District Second Primary School, and I've served as an assistant to renowned music educators at both the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Manhattan School of Music. I've also instructed Applied Piano Lessons at Teachers College and currently serve as a teaching assistant in the Music Preparatory Program at the University of Miami. To further expand my teaching approaches, I've actively participated in Suzuki Method and Yamaha Educational System conferences. My passion for sharing my knowledge extends to writing as well; I've published articles in the leading Chinese piano magazine Piano Artistry.

Stéphane is a highly skilled player and certified pickleball coach who has promoted and developed the sport for over eight years. With a background in tennis, he has taught both sports for more than 25 years. Stéphane serves as the lead instructor for Engage Pickleball. As a sponsored professional player, he has won gold medals in numerous local and regional tournaments at the professional level and has earned medals at the US Open, one of the largest and most prestigious pickleball tournaments in the world. About seven years ago, Stéphane founded JoliSports and has worked with students of all levels, from beginners who have never played the sport to professional and senior professional players. He is passionate about helping his students enhance their skills and reach their full potential, taking pride in watching them progress and achieve their goals. He has also taught and certified other coaches to become accredited instructors. For several years, Stéphane has traveled to Miami to teach, but now, by joining the Fair Expo Center, an established and renowned organization, he feels more confident and dedicated than ever to advancing pickleball in Miami.
