His competitive achievements include winning the 1980 Palm Beach County Amateur Championship and the 1981 Florida State Amateur Championship, and he also competed on the PGA Tour and various mini-tours. A former member of the University of North Carolina golf team, Dave has completed over 100 hours of PGA education, specializing in swing analysis and club fitting. Currently, he coordinates the Abacoa Junior Golf Clinics and coaches the Abacoa Boys and Girls PGA Junior League Teams.
