I've immersed myself in sports from a young age, starting with soccer at 7 years old and later transitioning to boxing. Over the past 3 years, I've developed a strong passion for boxing, viewing it as an art rather than violence. Shane was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and started playing golf when he was 5 years old. He currently resides in Pompano Beach with his wife, Monica and daughter Aaliyah. Shane played golf throughout his entire high school years and was the first student at Anchor Bay HS to ever qualify for the State Golf Tournament. He won Silver and Bronze medals in the US Junior Olympics during 2003-2005. He was acknowledged in the "Who's Who Among American High School Students Sports Edition." In 2007, he graduated from the SDGA Golf Academy with a Business Degree in Golf Management. Shane was part of the "Top 5" to hold the lowest handicap and won two prestigious tournaments including PGA Matchplay and PGA Stroke Play Championships. After college, he started his golf career as an Assistant Golf Professional working throughout South Florida including Shula's Country Club, The Old Course at Broken Sound, Via Mizner Country Club and Hollybrook Country Club between 2007 - 2023. In 2023 he entered the PGA Associated Program where he passed his PAT finishing 2nd place and started Level 1 as a B-8 Assistant Golf Professional. He is a Certified Master Club Repair Professional and has experience in Junior Clinics. He is also a very capable instructor that will be able to help any golfer achieve their goals. When Shane is not golfing, he enjoys bowling and has bowled three 300 games and finished last season with an 801 series. I taught for Hank Haney for 25 yrs and have taught several PGA TOUR players. I began playing golf at age 10. In high school I had a great short game and wanted to play on the PGA Tour. So, I took lessons with Hank Haney for 7 years to improve my long game. After a wrist injury, I began teaching. Now, I really enjoy helping people get excited about their golf and having fun doing something they enjoy. I have taught Tour players and caddied for many of them. You will get the same process I use to improve their games that helped some of them to earn their PGA Tour card while being my student.
