My training spans classical, jazz, rock, and more. I’ve worked with students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for auditions or performances. Renowned maestro and music director, Cooper is celebrated as the conductor of the Chicago Philharmonia Orchestra. He previously held the role of Artistic Director for the University of Chicago’s Performing Arts Series for over a decade. Cooper's illustrious career includes piano recitals at Carnegie Recital Hall and more than 100 performances with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. He earned degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Rochester concurrently.
