Driven by my love for the sport, I've spent the last 5 years sharing my pickleball knowledge with others. As an experienced player, I bring a deep understanding of the game to every lesson. Let's work together to elevate your skills and unlock your pickleball potential – on the court and beyond.

With over a decade of tennis coaching experience and a distinguished background as a Division I tennis player at Eastern Illinois University, I have seamlessly transitioned into the world of pickleball. As an aspiring professional, I actively compete in PPA and APP tournaments nationwide, striving to elevate my game to the highest levels. Currently, I offer coaching services at multiple pickleball facilities across Chicago’s North Shore, where I am dedicated to sharing my passion and expertise with players of all skill levels. My comprehensive understanding of both tennis and pickleball enables me to provide unique insights and tailored instruction, fostering growth and development in each of my students. I am committed to promoting the sport of pickleball and helping others achieve their personal goals on the court. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to refine your skills, I am here to support your journey every step of the way!!
"My first lesson with Vova was both fun and insightful. He has an amazing ability to explain complex concepts in a way that makes sense right away. We focused on dinking and footwork, and he showed me how small adjustments could completely change the outcome of a rally. I couldn’t believe how much progress I made in just an hour. Vova’s energy and passion for the game make him an exceptional coach—I can’t wait for my next lesson!

With 22 years in combat sports and athlete development, I bring the kind of experience you can't teach—you earn it. I competed exclusively in the super heavyweight division, finishing my amateur kickboxing career at 12-0 before turning professional, where I went 3-0 in kickboxing and 1-0 in professional boxing. Along the way, I earned three championship titles: TCB Illinois State Amateur Champion (1997), TBC Windy City Champion (1998), and TCB Midwest Champion (1999). Beyond my own competition history, coaching is where I’ve built my legacy. I’ve trained and cornered dozens of male and female athletes across boxing, kickboxing, and MMA, helping them build confidence, sharpen technique, and step into the ring prepared to win. My approach is equal parts technical detail, discipline, and mindset development—because a fighter’s body follows where their belief leads. I’m not here just to teach punches and kicks. I’m here to develop competitors, leaders, and resilient athletes who know how to push through, get better, and show up like champions.
"I hesitate to give constructive critique via message. As we know, words are not always interpreted as intended. That being said, here we go: I have worked with 4 personal trainers over the years. IMO you are the best. You know how the body works, what we should be feeing and where we should feel it. You have shown me that the smallest tweak can make the biggest difference. You’ve been through some things and you also know how the body doesn’t work (injuries) and you are careful about that. I like your training style and if I am not being challenged, neither of us is doing our best. Thank you for not swearing during our sessions. Please don’t tell me I’ve done something well, when I can feel I haven’t. False “kudos” are not appreciated. I understand we live in a time where everyone expects “good job” just for breathing, but when a person who is critical tells me my form/technique was good, I can believe them. Thank you for reminding me to “get out of my head”, but sometimes I need to step back for a minute; take a pause to reset. We’ve had some heated discussions and I’m fine with that as long as we come to an understanding by the end of the session. We play hard and a few clashes are to be expected as long as we have respect. I hope to meet the corporate people next time they come in. I will tell them how I appreciate your knowledge and workout advice. Sorry. Not so short.
Having spent the last 16 years on the pitch both as a youth, collegiate. And professional player, I've cultivated a deep understanding of soccer's complexities and a passion for fostering talent. My coaching blends technical expertise with a fun yet focused approach, designed to help players of all levels thrive.

I play pickleball regularly 4–5 times per week and compete in tournaments, where I’ve earned multiple gold and silver medals. My current playing level is 4.0–4.5. I enjoy mentoring and coaching players of all levels, with a strong focus on identifying weaknesses and reducing unforced errors. My coaching style is practical and supportive—I break the game down into simple, actionable steps that help you play smarter, more consistent pickleball. Whether you’re looking to improve consistency, shot selection, or overall confidence on the court, I’ll help you make measurable improvements quickly.

I approach golf coaching with precision and a focus on the details that matter most. Analytics and measurable feedback are central to my teaching, helping students track progress with clarity. I believe repetition builds confidence, and I design lessons that reinforce strong habits through consistent practice. Every session is structured and purposeful, blending fundamentals with tailored drills for each player’s goals. My coaching connects the numbers of the game with the feel of the swing, creating a balanced learning experience. I emphasize discipline, patience, and encouragement so practice remains productive and enjoyable. Ultimately, my mission is to guide players toward steady improvement and a deeper love for the game.
Hello. My name is Rina. Being able to play with people of different skill levels in the course and incorporate specific drills in the driving range help me improve. Golf is a mental game. Not only does it require holding a golf club but also understanding why it is held a certain way. Even those who have been playing for a long time still struggle and overthink. My goal is for you to understand the purpose behind the movement. Ultimately realize golf is not complicated but a sport where players can learn from one another and have fun.
The game of basketball has given me so much joy in life! I love the way the ball sounds when you bounce it. I love the way the net sounds when the ball goes in. I love shooting on mini hoops, regulation sized hoops, swimming pool hoops, and anything in between. If there's a hoop and a ball, I'm playing. Heck, I remember playing on crates when I was younger. I love playing inside, outside, it doesn't matter. I love getting into a stance and locking somebody up on defense. I love outhustling everybody on the other team for loose balls. I love making my teammates better and being a leader on the court. I want to share my 35 + years of basketball knowledge and experience with boys and girls of all ages in hopes of helping them become the best basketball players and human beings they can possibly be (they go hand in hand). If you bring me on as your personal basketball coach, we will spend time on the court (offense and defense) as well as break down film (watching film is what helps you pick up on new moves). I look forward to working with you!

With two decades on the court, I'm dedicated to fostering skill development and strategic thinking in basketball. My focus is on nurturing a deep understanding and passion for the game. Expect focused training sessions!
