Hi, my name is Maicol. (Pronounced Michael) Two things you will wonder about the moment we meet - where am I from and how tall am I? I was born in Brazil and picked up a ball for the first time when I was over six feet tall and already 15 years old- it’s never too late! I grew all the way through my second year of college at Cedarville university in shoe size and height, I ended up 6’8 by 21 years old. Since then, I have experienced great heights and low lows navigating this adventure called life. As a former club player in Porto Alegre, Brazil with Sogipa, a college player at Cedarville University in the US, an assistant coach in Clark Summit, PA at Baptist Bible College, a club coach in Santa Cruz, Brazil at Unico, and recreational coach for various children’s sports in the US, I bring you realistic, honest, practical experience and life lessons. I have achievements such as State and National Championship titles and short falls that taught me to work harder and train more effectively. Somethings I value: hard-work, integrity, faith, loyalty, mentorship, friendship, and family. Mastering basketball is a journey, and I'm passionate about guiding you every step of the way. With 30 years of experience as a player and coach, I provide personalized training designed to elevate your skills and basketball IQ. He served as Running Backs and Returners Coach Butler University, Marian University, and DePauw University, where I implemented daily training regimens, led recruitment in multiple states, and contributed to weekly game planning through detailed film analysis. Known for my leadership and team-building skills, I have also managed video operations and directed scout teams, helping cultivate a culture of discipline and sportsmanship. I hold a Master’s in Coaching Pedagogy from Ohio University and continue to bring a servant-leader mindset to every role.

I have over 30 years of professional quarterback training to individuals, teams and leagues at the youth, scholastic, collegiate, semipro and professional levels. I seek to empower players to increase their football IQ and maximize their offensive potential at their current level, with an emphasis on preparing them to excel at their next level. As players progress in their development, training incorporates more advanced skills, including offensive and defensive concepts, quarterback progressions and reads, film study techniques and may utilize virtual training and evaluation sessions. I'm a highly accomplished tennis coach with over 30 years of experience and a passion for developing players of all levels. My career highlights include being named USTA Midwest Coach of the Year in 2024 and coaching a World #1 ITF/USTA junior player who dominated prestigious tournaments like the Easter Bowl, Copper Bowl, and Junior Grand Slams. I've also coached on the USTA Pro Circuit, led winning college teams, and guided high school boys to a state championship title. My expertise extends beyond the competitive arena, as I've also served as a celebrity coach for individuals in the music and entertainment industry. I'm dedicated to sharing my knowledge and passion for tennis, helping players achieve their goals through a focus on technical excellence, tactical awareness, and mental strength.
