My name is Mike Parker, and I am a former USPTA P2 and PTR Level 2 certified tennis professional. Throughout my playing career, I was a two-time ASC East All-Conference Second Team selection in both singles and doubles, the 2009–2010 ASC Newcomer of the Year, and a junior college regional finalist. I also had the honor of serving as captain of my university team during my senior year. I completed my junior training at the renowned Austin Tennis Academy, where I had the opportunity to work with some of the best teaching professionals in the country. Those experiences shaped my coaching philosophy—built on hard work, discipline, and the constant drive to become the best version of yourself both on and off the court. I look forward to the opportunity to help you or your child reach your tennis goals and develop a lifelong love for the game.

Growing up, I performed extensively across Kansas City in musicals, concerts, and recitals, which helped shape my journey as a performer. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory, where I had the privilege of studying under remarkable instructors who deeply influenced my craft. I'm a retired college baseball player with 5 years of experience playing. I played 3 years at Dawson Community College and 2 years at Missouri Valley College. I have 2 years of coaching experience I mainly worked with high schoolers getting them ready for the next level. I was an intern of my baseball team my last semester at Missouri Valley. I specialize in working with pitchers diving deeper into the statistics of pitching (Rapsodo).My goal is too help everyone become better players on and off the field.
