USPTA Certified coach with 12 years experience. I coach all ages and skill levels, from first time playing to the collegiate level. Everyone has their own unique play style, and I like to tailor my concepts to each individual. My style covers all areas of the game from the technical side of helping with swing development, as well as the physical side of having the proper movements and body mechanics. I am also a certified Personal Trainer and like to apply my knowledge to help improve ways to become a better athlete for players, as the modern game has become more physically demanding. I do have a patient approach to be able to help all players improve each day to achieve their goals, being to improve to play in a competitive league/tournament, making the team at your school, wanting to play at the college level, or just enjoy playing with your friends. I have always had a strong interest and great passion for being a tennis coach. I am dedicated to always learn about the game and improve my abilities to help maximize the potential in all of my players.
"What a lesson, Learning new things! Brian kept it steady and insightful, and I left with concrete tweaks I can trust to improve my game, excited for the next lesson.

With a great background as an instructor and a player, Max brings his expertise and passion to the court, helping you to improve your Pickleball game. Max Johnson was born and raised in the Johnson County area with a passion for sports. In 2020, Max found the incredible sport of Pickleball. His pickleball passion grew quickly and before he knew it, he was playing everyday for multiple hours. Along the way he decided to show others; teaching friends, family, and now everyone under the sun.
"The lesson with Max really helped improve my dinking and overheads, and I also focused on my footwork which was pretty helpful. Still, I think adding more power to my game would make a big difference, so I’m hoping to work on that in future lessons. It’s encouraging to see progress though, and I’ll definitely try to build on what we covered.

Note: Not affiliated with Overland Park Golf Course I am a 53-year-old 2.5 handicap player who has been playing competitive golf since I was 5. I have been involved in the golf world all my life. My dad played professionally for a few years, and I have most recently been a mentor for the First Tee’s Watson Links program, where I have been working with kids of various ages and skill levels. My philosophy is to help people make their swing work better, not to make them swing like me.
"I appreciated Butch's straightforward approach and steady guidance, which helped me feel more confident on the course. Still, I think there's room to push my short game further. Looking forward to my next lesson.

With 14 years of soccer coaching, I cultivate players' skills and foster a deep passion for the game. My expertise shapes well-rounded athletes and strategic thinkers, on and off the field. Join me to elevate your game! I am experienced in coaching younger kids as I have done private sessions and larger camps. As a player I am commanding and technical, and my experience translates well into my coaching style.
