My name is James Berry, I am a recent graduate of Roosevelt University. I have had the opportunity to play at various levels of collegiate baseball, including NCBA, NJCAA, NAIA, and NCAA Division II. I am a student of the game and in constant pursuit of learning more to help myself as well as others become better players. I have a strong work ethic, patience, and I am passionate about developing younger generations into confident and skillful ball players. Throughout my baseball career, I have learned under various different coaching strategies and styles which has all helped to shape my own approach to teaching/coaching. With years of experience coaching travel, recreation, and competitive fastpitch softball, I bring a player-first, fundamentals-focused approach to every lesson. I’m currently the Head Coach of West Bloomfield High School’s Varsity Softball program, where I led a young roster to an 11-1 league record and a championship in one of Michigan’s most competitive conferences. My sessions are built to meet each athlete where they are—whether we’re sharpening mechanics, building game IQ, or boosting confidence.
