Her communication style seems to be very effective. She occasionally played an electric cello which my kid thought was extremely cool. The studio is also a beautiful place where we get to see art on display, and it is very convenient to get to right off the interstate. I would highly recommend this teacher! Hi, my name is Will. I'm a small producer based in Omaha. Being based in Omaha is a blessing as an artist because the music scene here is so diverse. When I'm not laying down drums or 808s, or in class (Yes, I'm currently in school. I'm studying Music Technology at UNO) I always end up listening to jazz A typical lesson would revolve around jazz/freeform playing. After a short recap/introduction we would dive straight into warmups (scales/chord exercises) After that jump into "content." Which would include how we use chords, how we play in an ensemble, and - everyone's favorite - how to improvise solos. We may also touch base on the theory behind what we are playing. This would include simple music theory (circle of fifths, scale intervals, etc.) along with how we can use things we've listened to and let that influence how/what we play I'm really excited to work and pass down the knowledge that I have!
