Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Coach Bryan Hughes is a product of Philadelphia’s parks and recreational programs. His 30+ years of teaching include 6 NJCAA National Titles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010. Certified Premier Provider for the USTA as well as Middle States Committee Member, The SPTA was The USTA Middle States Section "Community Tennis Association of the Year." I’m a certified golf instructor with GLE in conjunction with the David Leadbetter golf Academy. And have over 50 years experience working with players at all levels During our first session, we will talk about your goals and aspirations. Regardless your level of play, we will cover the basics, grip set up posture and the 11 key fundamentals of the golf swing. Once I observe your swing, I will make recommendations to cure any faults and provide you drills to work on, on your own time. Moving forward in subsequent sessions we will endeavor to go over the complete game and get into shot shaping, the long game, short game, pitching chipping bunker play and putting. All of my lessons will be conducted using a flight scope launch monitor with pro-package and face impact, data and video analysis will be provided.
