I saw 7 of the kids I coached play DI baseball and one get drafted - 13th round of the 2025 MLB draft.

My educational journey, from studying Bel Canto operatic singing at Queensborough Community College to exploring diverse styles at Berklee College of Music, has equipped me to offer students a comprehensive foundation to sing any song in any style. Hi! I’m Simon, a passionate pickleball player with a love for helping people of all ages and skill levels get into this fast-growing, fun, and social sport. I started playing pickleball a year and quickly fell in love with the game’s mix of strategy, movement, and community. Whether you’re a total beginner looking to learn the basics, or someone with experience hoping to sharpen your skills, I focus on building strong fundamentals in a relaxed, encouraging environment. My lessons emphasize proper technique, court positioning, strategy, and—most importantly—making the game fun and accessible.

I have been playing tennis for over 10 years, training under experienced coaches and competing in tournaments for the past six years. As a current student-athlete on the Farmingdale State College Men’s Tennis Team, I have helped my team win two Skyline Conference Championships and qualified for the national tournament twice. I am passionate about helping players of all skill levels improve their game, develop strong fundamentals, and build the confidence needed to achieve their tennis goals.

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Rockaway Beach is my home break. I’ve surfed all over the world—from Hawaii to Indonesia, Puerto Rico to Peru, as well as California and Japan. I’m passionate about teaching and giving people the opportunity to learn this amazing sport while connecting with nature and the waves.

I have been providing both individual and group instructions for several years. Most of my instruction has been with adults but I have also provided lessons for children. I evaluate each individual before providing any instruction to get an idea of playing ability so I can identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
