Johnny Wang is a pianist and educator pursuing his Master of Music in Piano Performance at Mannes School of Music. With over 15 years of piano experience and degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Cornell University, he brings both creativity and structure to his lessons. His teaching style is patient and encouraging, with a focus on building strong foundations while keeping music fun and engaging. He is also extremely passionate! Lessons often mix demonstration, guided practice, and short discussions of music theory to help students connect technique with expression.

Music has been my lifelong passion, and for 19 years I've had the privilege of sharing that passion as a guitar instructor. I run six pickleball sessions a week for my local church to raise money, combining my love for the game with a commitment to community service. My journey with paddle sports began as a kid, but it was in 2015, introduced to pickleball by my dad, that I truly found my passion. I fell in love with the game not only for its excitement but also for the positive social aspects it brings. Pickleball has a unique way of building connections and fostering a supportive community, and I strive to share that experience with others. Whether you're a newcomer or looking to improve your skills, I'm here to help you enjoy the game and be part of the amazing pickleball community.

"Although I could use more lessons, Mike understands the body and how to develop your natural swing for power and accuracy. He teaches a lot about tempo, unique strengthening and it's almost like meditation. An interesting teaching method I have never witnessed before.

Hello, I'm Phil. I'm straightforward and unafraid to be real. In pickleball, that means helping you shore up weaknesses and improve technically and strategically as easily and clearly as possible. I believe it's important to know "what" and "how", but also "why". My ideal is environment is one where we can learn something impactful and figure out how to implement it, all without unnecessary pressure. Before pickleball, I played 25 years of tennis and competed on a world class level in a variety of games. Let's get on the court!
