My journey began on the dirt fields of the Dominican Republic, where I learned that baseball is more than a game—it's a way of life. I bring a unique blend of on-field experience as a utility player and catcher, coupled with a transformational coaching philosophy. My approach goes beyond the physical. I coach with empathy, accountability, and emotional intelligence, helping athletes build a winning mindset. "My name is Joshua I am a 12 yr old and met Roddy because my mom met him in the supermarket and my mom told me about him and going to teach me how to do boxing I really like him he is a very good boxer and he made me laugh when he was showing me how to throw a punch the right way because I’m being picked on and my mom is worried about me Roddy told me bully’s are cowards and really do not want to fight my mom set it up so he comes over 2 times a week to teach me how to protect myself he is so good at boxing and I feel better about myself

Hockey has been my life for as long as I can remember. That passion led me to Wilkes University and then to the ECHL, where I've been playing professionally for the past three seasons. Now, I'm excited to share my knowledge with the next generation. I've been running hockey camps and lessons for players of all ages, from beginners to aspiring pros. My coaching goes beyond skills, focusing on mental toughness, efficiency, and the small details that make a big difference. I incorporate skill development into game-like scenarios, so players learn how to apply techniques effectively.
