Juan Felipe Villanueva Contreras Musician, violinist and violist Juan Felipe Villanueva Contreras was born in Ibague, Colombia, in December 2000, with a passion for music that has defined his journey from an early age. He started his journey at the prestigious Conservatorio de Musica de Ibague, where he discovered his love for the violin under the tutelage of renowned musician Daniel Oviedo Galeano. His dedication and commitment to his craft led him to excel in his high school studies, culminating in his graduation in 2017 with a Music Honor Diploma of Excellence. Eager to continue his musical education, Juan Villanueva embarked on his collegiate journey at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2018, further honing his skills and knowledge in the world of music. In 2020, Juan Villanueva’s remarkable talent and unwavering dedication were recognized when he received a scholarship to study at Rowan University. Under the guidance of the esteemed Dr. Timothy Schwarz, he delved into the art of violin performance, embracing the challenges and opportunities that come with pursuing excellence in music. Today, Juan Felipe is a Music Performance major with a minor in viola, continually expanding his horizons as a versatile musician. In 2023 Juan Villanueva, was selected as winner of the Viola Concerto Competition, making his debut as a Soloist with Rowan University Symphony Orchestra performing “Romanze for Viola and Orchestra” by the german composer Max Bruch. In 2024 Juan Villanueva was selected as winner of the Orchestra Concerto competition 2024 performing “Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D mayor” as soloist with Rowan University Symphonic Orchestra. Currently, Juan Felipe is under the expert guidance of Dr. Timothy Schwarz, who serves as his Violin professor. With a bright future ahead, Juan Felipe Villanueva Contreras is poised to make a lasting mark on the world of music, combining his Colombian heritage and international education to create a harmonious blend of musical excellence.

Whether professional or beginner, I enjoy teaching and singing across all genres of music. With 15 years of experience, I've taught both private voice students and at the university level. As a professional opera singer, I've graced the stages of leading opera houses worldwide, including the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Peabody Conservatory, and I'm a graduate of the prestigious Merola Program and Adler Fellowship with the San Francisco Opera.

With 4 years of dedicated guitar play, my musical journey has been a delightful exploration of melody and rhythm. My passion extends to teaching, having immersed myself in the harmonious world of piano, guitar, and electric guitar within a vibrant church band context. Jarrett is a seasoned chef and culinary educator with a rich background in professional cooking and teaching. Currently a chef instructor at Central Montco Technical High School in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, Jarrett's culinary journey began at the same institution in 1996, setting the stage for his impressive career. After graduating, he honed his craft at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York, and further refined his skills under the tutelage of French Master Chef Dominique Filoni at Savona Cucina Della Costa, a world-renowned restaurant. With years of experience teaching at the high school level and leading the Culinary Arts Summer Cooking School as its director, Jarrett has worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. His approachable personality and sharp sense of humor create a fun and comfortable learning environment, making cooking accessible and enjoyable for everyone. My journey with music began at the age of 6, joining a children's choir. By the age of 8, I delved into piano lessons, the violin at 9 and the trombone at 10. After a diverse exploration of instruments, I now stand proficient on the piano, electric/acoustic bass, and guitar. Post my service in the U.S. Army, I returned to school as a music/audio production major, setting the stage for a multifaceted career. Beginning my teaching odyssey at Milestones in Music, I honed my skills as an independent contractor, refining my curriculum through my affiliation with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). As a former student member of the Grammy U Recording Academy, I've had the privilege of working with and learning from many musicians. I lead the band at Montco Bible Fellowship and serve as a recording, mixing/mastering, and live FOH engineer. Additionally, my role as a music producer spans collaborations with local and out-of-state artists. My love for learning extends to exploring new instruments and music technologies, and I am dedicated to passing on this love for music to the next generation. With over twenty-five years of successful coaching experience, Coach Cacciavillano has helped student-athletes of all levels and abilities to achieve their athletic, academic and personal goals. "Coach" has helped to produce qualifiers of Junior Olympics, Sectionals, Futures, Junior Nationals, U.S. Open, Summer/Winter/Open Water Nationals, Junior Worlds, and numerous All-Americans. Coach McNear was also named the 2013 Broward County (FL) High School Coach of the Year. From 2016 through 2021, Coach helped guide Lower Moreland High School Swim and Dive to become a top nationally ranked program. He led his student-athletes to Team State Champions, Team State Runner-up, earn All-American awards, Individual and Relay State titles, a National Scholar Team Award, numerous State finalists, All-State honors, and own a multitude of Team, Individual, and Relay District and SOL Division Championships. "Coach" was named the 2018 National Federation of High School Coaches Association's (NFHS) State Coach of the Year as well as the 2018 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association's (PIAA) Coach of the Year. Coach Cacciavillano has been involved in competitive swimming for nearly fifty years. He began year-round competitive swimming in 1974, then enjoyed a lengthy and successful swimming career, before retiring in 2000. "Coach Cacc" was, most notably, a former member of the Puerto Rican National Team, a United States Olympic Trials qualifier, a four-year, full scholarship, All-Conference swimmer for West Virginia University, a two-time US National Champion and a was also a four-time All-American for Downingtown High School (PA). Outside of the pool, Mr. Cacciavillano, a US Navy Veteran of Foreign Wars, is in his 20th year of teaching, enjoys swimming (obviously:-), going to the beach, traveling and camping, Jeep life, and, most importantly, spending time with his daughter, Johanna (13), and sons, Kaiden (15) and Jack (15) as well as his cat, Coral (2), and bearded dragon, Chico.
