I coach serious performers who want to elevate their stage presence, technical precision, and artistic impact. With over 38 years of professional performance experience and 30+ years of teaching, I understand what separates competent musicians from compelling performers. My training began as a boys’ choir soloist and church organist at age 11 and continued at the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts and Berklee College of Music, where I developed advanced foundations in voice, piano, and musicianship. My coaching is built on persistence, repetition, and patience — the core disciplines behind confident, reliable performance. We focus on technical control under pressure, musical interpretation, phrasing, stage presence, and eliminating inconsistencies that show up in live settings. I identify subtle weaknesses that limit impact and implement targeted strategies to strengthen them. This is not casual instruction. It is structured, performance-driven work designed to refine execution, deepen artistic authority, and build the kind of confidence that holds up under lights, cameras, and audiences. If you’re preparing for auditions, productions, competitions, or professional work — and you’re ready to raise your standard — I’m ready to help you deliver at your highest level.
"Gabe has been an incredible teacher over the past few months. I have never played piano before, but I am gaining so much confidence and motivation with each lesson. Gabe has such a wealth of musical knowledge from his wide range of experience; I would recommend his services for anyone who is brand new to someone looking to refine their skills. He is patient and kind, yet provides structure and holds you accountable. I am a busy adult who lives in a small mountain town with little access to in person instructors, and so I am glad that I found Gabe, who offers extremely effective instruction via Zoom and works with my schedule. He made me realize it is never too late to start a learning a new skill!
