I've been playing golf for nearly 20 years, and truly believe it is a sport that should be played by as many people as possible. I specialize in bringing a fun, relaxed, and easy to understand style for people new to the game or wanting to learn more. I have coached both men and women, most recently being a high school golf coach in South Carolina working with many first time golfers. My affordable rates help make sure anyone can learn without being scared away by the price of individual lessons. For brand new / beginner golfers - my goal is to get you comfortable with not only your swing, but with understanding golf etiquette, rules, and good habits. For intermediate players who are already experienced, but are looking to improve their swing, short game, and overall score- I have a lot of experience with helping identify which parts of players' games can provide the biggest improvements and will prepare a plan to focus on those areas. For advanced/elite players looking to lower their scores even farther, I am probably not the man for the job. I recommend seeking lessons from a PGA Certified golf instructor in this situation.

I am a former Division I tennis athlete with extensive competitive and coaching experience at the junior, high school, and adult levels. I started all four years at Saint Francis University, competing in both singles and doubles. As a junior player, I was a 3-star recruit on TennisRecruiting.net, ranked as high as No. 246 nationally upon graduating in 2020, and reached a peak UTR of 8.5. Before college, I was a three-time West Virginia state champion at the No. 1 singles and doubles positions, finishing my high school career with an undefeated 69–0 record. My senior season was unfortunately cut short due to COVID, but my competitive foundation was built through years of elite tournament play across the Midwest and on a national level. I am originally from Ohio and trained and competed throughout the region. In addition to my playing background, I bring hands-on coaching experience to every lesson. I have previously taught in Huntington, West Virginia, working with players ranging from ages 3 to 55+, including beginners, recreational adults, and competitive middle school and high school athletes.
