Mark Cahak is a lifelong student and teacher of the game of lacrosse, committed to developing players of all levels through moral integrity, passion, hard work, and skill-building. A standout defenseman at Fayetteville-Manlius High School (First Team All-League, All-CNY, and Empire State Games team member), Mark went on to play for Syracuse University, where he was part of the 2009 National Championship team and a two-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll recipient. Mark began his coaching career as Defensive Coordinator at Harvard-Westlake in California and went on to hold coaching roles at Montgomery Bell Academy and Ensworth School in Nashville. As Ensworth’s Head Coach from 2015–2018, he led the program to a state championship and earned TSLA, US Lacrosse Tennessee, and Tennessean Coach of the Year honors. Mark’s coaching philosophy centers on building complete student-athletes—on the field and in life—by instilling discipline, leadership, and love for the game. Whether working with beginners or seasoned players, he brings energy, focus, and a genuine dedication to helping athletes grow.

For over a decade, I've fostered a love for football at all levels. I was named two time All-Conference Honorable Mention Center at Middle Tennessee State University along with being Scholar Athlete of the year my senior year. At College of the Canyons, I was named two-time All-American and First-Team All-Conference in football.  I was ranked number two Junior College Center in the State of California.  As a member of the track team, I was honored as West Coast Conference Athlete of the Year and South Regional Shot Put Champion.  I was the State Shot Put Runner-up and named Track and Field Athlete of the Year.  My experience helps students build strong fundamentals and achieve their goals. Hi! I’m a Nashville and Middle TN-based voice teacher and vocal pedagogue with over 10 years of experience working with singers of all ages, with a special focus on children, teens, and developing voices. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Belmont University and am currently completing a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy. My background includes classical training, musical theatre, and contemporary styles, and I’m passionate about helping students build healthy technique, confidence, and joy in singing. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and student-centered. I prioritize vocal health, age-appropriate technique, and creating a safe, encouraging space where students feel empowered to explore their voices. Whether a student is preparing for auditions, choir, musical theatre, or simply wants to sing for fun, I tailor each lesson to meet their individual goals and learning style.
