Richard W. Singer is an experienced songwriter, performer, and educator with a passion for inspiring students of all ages to make music. Originally from Wooster, Ohio, Richard earned a BA in Music and Sound Recording from Columbia College Chicago in 2000. He’s worked in the music industry as a backline technician and sound engineer for iconic artists like The Beach Boys and Jimmy Cliff. With over 12 years of teaching experience at the Old Town School of Folk Music and other institutions, Richard combines his deep technical expertise with a fun, student-focused approach. Now based in Nashville, TN, he offers personalized guitar lessons to help students of all levels develop their skills, confidence, and creativity. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to refine your technique, Richard is ready to help you reach your musical goals.

Hey! My name is Ryan and I’m the lead guitarist in a nationally touring band The Young Escape. I have years of live music and studio experience and can play in a wide variety of styles from pop to blues to funk to rock. My teaching focuses on giving beginning guitar students a solid foundation for their skills so they have the tools to effectively express themselves on their instrument. My goal with my students is to get them excited to pick up their guitar everyday.

I am a former MLB draft pick (Philadelphia Phillies) and former D1 baseball player. I was the number 1 outfielder in the state of TN. Played at Briarcrest School in high school where in 2014 was 2nd in the country in homeruns and led the school to its first state championship appearance in 2015. Was top 100 freshman in D1 baseball, all-conference baseball player. I have a unique story full of ups and downs and want to share that story with athletes to help them on and off the field. I have been coached and training athletes for the last 4 years specializing in mental and physical training. I like to cover all areas to maximize an athletes overall growth and development. I want to create a genuine bond and relationship with athletes and their families that extends past sports.

Hi my name is Brian and I am a fun, local Nashville tennis coach with over 47 years of playing experience and over 24 years of teaching experience! I was a collegiate player at Lubbock Christian University back in the 80’s. I love team tennis and have been a finalist in both USTA and World Team Tennis. The game has of course evolved and I make sure my students know what it takes to reach their goals. If you want to find a fun sport to stay healthy or you’re trying to get a tennis scholarship, my tennis program can get you there! I’m also a sports journalist and have covered several US Open Series Tournaments in Cincinnati, Atlanta & Winston-Salem. I use every bit of my knowledge to make every part of my student’s tennis game better and more fun!

With 28 years dedicated to shaping my own baseball talent (yes I started t-ball at 2 haha), I offer expertise honed through years of playing and teaching. My approach is dedicated, detailed, and fun to bring out your best potential on the diamond. I still play professionally in Liga Mexico de Beisbol and played 9 years in America for the Tampa Bay Rays, Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners, and San Diego Padres organizations up to AAA

I have competed in high-level golf for over sixteen years, earning victories in elite tournaments and competing at the Division II collegiate level, with experience at the semi-professional level. My greatest strengths lie in course management and the ability to develop golfers at every stage of their journey. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to improvement. Every golfer is unique, and because of this, I tailor my teaching and coaching style to each individual, helping players build confidence, consistency, and a deeper understanding of their own game.

Mark Cahak is a lifelong student and teacher of the game of lacrosse, committed to developing players of all levels through moral integrity, passion, hard work, and skill-building. A standout defenseman at Fayetteville-Manlius High School (First Team All-League, All-CNY, and Empire State Games team member), Mark went on to play for Syracuse University, where he was part of the 2009 National Championship team and a two-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll recipient. Mark began his coaching career as Defensive Coordinator at Harvard-Westlake in California and went on to hold coaching roles at Montgomery Bell Academy and Ensworth School in Nashville. As Ensworth’s Head Coach from 2015–2018, he led the program to a state championship and earned TSLA, US Lacrosse Tennessee, and Tennessean Coach of the Year honors. Mark’s coaching philosophy centers on building complete student-athletes—on the field and in life—by instilling discipline, leadership, and love for the game. Whether working with beginners or seasoned players, he brings energy, focus, and a genuine dedication to helping athletes grow.
