Scott Currier has authored best-selling books such as 16 Easy Christmas Songs for Solo Piano, 16 Easy Hymns for Solo Piano, Volume 1, and Big Note Bach. Scott has over four decades of piano experience after beginning his study at the early age of four when he began to exhibit a natural ability on the instrument. As a classically trained pianist, he developed technical expertise, musicality, and creativity, which prepared him for his studies in jazz and other music genres. Scott attended the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire on a full scholarship, earning a degree in classical piano. While studying in Eau Claire, he had the opportunity to play with one of the country’s top-ranked collegiate jazz ensembles, as well as recording several CDs, including the Grammy-nominated album Harpoon. Scott has taught privately for more than 25 years and continues to freelance extensively as a professional pianist, author, composer, and studio musician throughout the country due to his expertise in a wide variety of styles.

Originally from South Georgia, I've been immersed in music since high school, where I discovered my passion for singing in show choir. After receiving a scholarship to sing jazz in college, I honed my skills and won multiple vocal competitions. Following a stint with Phillip Phillips' hometown band, I moved to Nashville to pursue my musical dreams. Since 2014, I've performed in an acoustic duo and collaborated with various musicians. My journey has been enriched by holistic vocal training, transforming my approach to singing and emphasizing the connection between mind, body, and voice. I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with aspiring singers!
"I had the pleasure of studying voice with Chelsie when I was 15 years old. Her ability to nurture confidence and comfort in my singing was truly remarkable. Each lesson was not just about learning the technical aspects of singing, but also about discovering my own voice and the joy of music. She was patient, encouraging, and had a knack for making every session engaging and fun. Thanks to her, my interest in music remained fervently alive and has continued to influence my life. Anyone looking to find their voice, both literally and metaphorically, would be lucky to have her as a teacher.
