As an international tennis player, I thrive on the thrill of competition. My journey includes collegiate tennis at Atlantis University in Miami, where I honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of the game. I've traveled the globe, experiencing diverse playing styles and cultures, all while fueling my passion for tennis. Now, I'm eager to share my expertise and experiences, helping players of all levels elevate their game. My coaching style emphasizes both fun and focus, creating a dynamic learning environment where improvement and enjoyment go hand-in-hand.

With 15 years of softball instruction, I foster growth in athletes of all levels. I played collegiate softball at the University of South Carolina Beaufort where I competed in a highly competitive Division 2 conference. Throughout my two years at USCB I pitched over 100 innings with 74 strikeouts. Prior to my time at USCB, I started my collegiate career at Mclennan Community College where we were able to compete at the NJCAA College World Series, earning national runner up. I played at Tyler Junior college my sophomore year where we competed in a highly competitive conference where I pitched in over 60 innings with 40 strikeouts. I was gratefully given the opportunity to play for a small national team in Puerto Rico where I pitched the organizations first win. Growing up I played for the Hotshots Organization where I was able to be coached under some of the best and able to compete at a high level. Playing at the collegiate level taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of balancing academics with athletics. Off the field, I was voted by my conference to be the Student Athlete Advisory Committee President. I was awarded Presidential honor roll, Deans list, Chancellors list, and graduated Communication honor roll. Now that my playing career has come to a close, I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with others. I want to give back to the game by helping younger athletes build their skills, develop confidence, and understand the value of hard work and teamwork. Whether it’s pitching mechanics, game strategy, or simply encouraging players to believe in themselves, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of softball players and helping them reach their full potential.

Integrity, passion and professionalism are what Tannon Gilmore has built his musical life from. Tannon started his career at the tender age of 6 years old after receiving a guitar for Christmas. At an early age, he began to teach himself how to play guitar until his parents noticed, and thought, “we must find him an instructor”! It wasn’t long before Tannon auditioned to attend one of Houston’s best schools for Performing and Visual arts then known as Johnston Middle School, now known as Meyerland Performing and Visual Arts. Tannon achieved high honors and expanded his overall love for music into learning to play the saxophone and guitar simultaneously.. He quickly picked up the saxophone, and was put in the highest band where he sat 1st chair for two years. The late great Mr. Erwin Portis would make an impact on Tannon’s life that would continue on into his professional career. Portis would challenge Tannon to be a “master of many”. During high school, he played bass guitar, lead guitar, and drums all on the same record. He also picked up several low brass instruments, including tuba, baritone, and sousaphone, while also learning how to write and score music. Tannon attended Texas Southern University with a full scholarship to be in the “Ocean of Soul” Marching Band, and in their world famous TSU Jazz All-Star Band. During his time at TSU, he served as Kappa Kappa Psi’s (National Honorary Band Fraternity) president for two years, was a sousaphone section leader, he won several awards at jazz competitions on guitar and saxophone, and he did his first tour with Grammy winning recording artist, Usher. After graduating he toured with jazz saxophonist Kirk Whlum and attended Berklee College of Music in LA. To date Tannon has played with jazz, hip hop, R&B and gospel artists, at the Houston Grand Opera and he has traveled the world with artist such as Prof. Harris,Nelly, Murphy Lee, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kim Burrell, Shai,Levert, Avant, Tank, WizKid, Mya, El Debarge, Chico Debarge, Jadakiss,Waka Flaka, Dwele,Eric Roberson, Jasmine Sullivan and others. Now settled back in Houston, he is the lead guitar player for Nicole C. Mullen and is still heavily called on to record guitar and other instruments for records every year. He is now the violin instructor at Bruce Elementary Magnet School and has his own program that teaches young kids the importance of theory and being a professional musician. He looks forward to sharing his passion for music with his students!
