I have coached students age from 6-71, some of the complete beginners have started playing leagues every week. I can help newbies master all needed skills to play matches, both singles and doubles. "I used to be a defensive tackle (DT) in a NCAA football team. When I first started working with coach Howard, I was 5'10" and 245lbs. I was really committed to tennis. Sometimes I'd drive an hour one way for lessons twice during the weekend. I soaked up everything coach Howard taught me, like a sponge, especially working on my serve and return. After about 9 months, coach suggested I start playing locally instead of driving that distance. I jumped right in and started playing in a 2.5 league. Within 15 months of learning from coach Howard, I was down to 200 pounds. I am 180 pounds now.

I have been playing golf for over 40 years and teaching the last ten. Golf is my passion. I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds. Everyone has a different challenge when it comes to golf. I methodically work thru all stages of the game with all my students to achieve the goals they are desiring. Golf is a life time sport and meant to be enjoyed at all stages of your life . Whether you want to make the high school golf team or just best your father in law - I can help you. I love all aspects of the game of golf . A bad day on the links beats a good day in the office . Golf is an ever evolving sport that I never tire of, the advances in equipment and the sheer beauty of any golf course has me coming back round after round.
