Linwood is a long-time golf coach, having spent the past 17 years sharing the game he loves with players of all skill levels and ages. He played college Golf in Austin and is from San Antonio originally. He founded the Kids on Course Golf Academy over a decade ago and has remained its Head of Instruction. He has deep experience working with kids to help them improve their game.

For two decades, I've had the privilege of sharing my passion for baseball and helping players reach their full potential. My coaching philosophy centers on building a strong foundation of fundamental skills, fostering a love for the game, and encouraging a growth mindset in every athlete.

With over 13 years of volleyball instruction, I foster a fun yet disciplined environment, refining skills and building confidence. My experience helps players achieve their full potential on and off the court.

I’m a former collegiate All-American who has played on various tours around the world. With 25 years of golfing experience, I’ve coached players currently competing on the PGA and LIV tours and even caddied on tour. I hold seven course records, having shot 58 twice and 59 twice, and I’m currently a +4.3 on the USGA GHIN. My extensive background in the game fuels my passion for teaching and helping others reach their potential!

Golf has been my passion since childhood, and I've dedicated my life to sharing that love with others. I've coached high school teams, taught my own children, and helped countless individuals discover the joy of golf. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my clients progress and achieve their goals on the course.

I first took up golf because of my uncle, who was an avid golfer. He would occasionally take my father and I to the driving range. I really did not understand the game then. But, as I got older, I started seeing golf as more than a sport. First, I enjoyed being outdoors and I got to make new friends. But, more importantly, it taught me a lot about myself as well as some important things in life. Such as, it taught me about honesty, integrity, sportsmanship and of course a lot about my inner self. As a matter of fact, I fell in love with the game. So much so, that I became a golf professional and now an instructor. I love to help others and what a better way then by teaching the game that I have fallen in love with to new golfers. I am the best because of my personality and my mentality. I always believe that you can accomplish anything. As a golf instructor, I am going to help a new golfer by applying the knowledge and skills that have made me the best. I will show them everything that this beautiful sport has to offer. But more importantly, I will stay engaged with my students. Whether it’s through clinics, playing a round of golf with them or just practicing with them. I will do all I can to insure that they fall in love with golf. The experience from my lessons will be exciting and will be filled with fun and laughter. Of course, there will be goals expected from the student, but those goals will no way be intimidating. The main goal is to supply my students with the tools necessary for them to make golf a part of their life. Such as I did. But, golf has become more than just a part of my life. It’s become a passion.
