I’m a youth basketball coach focused on early-stage player development, fundamentals, and building a strong team culture. I coach two competitive teams and run a development program with a rotating group of 15–20 athletes, emphasizing ball-handling, footwork, confidence, and teamwork. My coaching style blends structured skill progression with clear expectations so young players learn how to compete, communicate, and lead. I also partner with schools, gyms, and community organizations to expand access to quality training and create a consistent development experience for families.

I may not have made the JV or Varsity teams, but that didn't deter my passion for basketball. I persevered and found my calling in coaching, starting with high school girls and progressing to organizations like Deuce Brand and Sweatfor94 at the Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, California. My name is KJ Mack, I have over 15 years of playing experience and 9+ years on the sidelines, I’m very passionate about football and have a strong commitment to player development. I’m a former collegiate offensive lineman, I played JUCO ball in Minnesota before finishing up my career at a division 2 school. So far in my coaching career I’ve spent five years coaching at the college level across NCAA Division I, II, and III programs before transitioning to high school football, where I’m now entering my fifth season. I have a wealth of knowledge in both offensive line and defensive line play. I teach from the ground up and really take my time honing my players skills. I’ve helped all of my linemen achieve college scholarships. Im truly dedicated to helping young athletes succeed both on and off the field, using football as a tool to teach life lessons, develop character, and open doors to future opportunities.
