I’ve been skiing since before I could walk—my dad took me on the slopes in a backpack when I was just six months old. As soon as I could stand, I was on skis. With a lifetime of professional training and competitive experience, I’ve also earned certifications in managing stressful situations and have years of teaching under my belt. I finish my lessons with games to apply what we learned and to allow students to use their creativity to problem solve. Early ages, the emphasis has to be on fun to keep them going. As my students mature, we focus more on building confidence competing. My older students provide notes for us to improve their level of competition in real matches.
