About Xavier

Xavier McDaniel Jr., son of the Seattle SuperSonics legend, has transitioned from his basketball career to focus on skill and strength training. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Xavier first gained recognition as a high school champion at Hammond School, playing alongside the renowned Seventh Woods. He continued to excel in college basketball, spending two years at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley under the esteemed coach Lew Hill, where he developed his skills for a professional career. Unfortunately, Xavier’s journey in professional basketball was impacted by a series of injuries, limiting him to two and a half full seasons across international leagues and the American TBL. Now, shifting his focus, he is completing his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Eastern Washington University, through Bellevue College. His mission is to combine his passion for sports and psychology to help individuals heal from trauma, focusing on the connection between mind, body, and spirit. As a coach, Xavier uses basketball as a tool not just for athletic development, but to guide others toward personal growth, whether that leads to a career in professional sports or simply a more balanced life off the court.

What students say...

"Coach Xavier is wonderful with the kids. He’s patient, encouraging, and knows how to explain things in a way they understand. The kids feel comfortable and motivated around him, and we’ve seen their confidence grow. We really appreciate his positive energy and dedication.

About Sky

I've been immersed in golf for nearly a decade, starting as a kid with my family and falling in love with the breathtaking views and the exhilarating feeling of sending a golf ball soaring across football fields. My journey has led me to compete in junior tournaments and proudly represent my high school and college golf teams. For the past four years, I've transitioned from player to passionate instructor, relishing the opportunity to help others enhance their golf game. My teaching philosophy focuses on fundamentals and establishing a robust foundation for each player. Whether you're a novice eager to take your first swing or an experienced player looking to fine-tune your techniques, I'm here. I understand that golf can be challenging, but I firmly believe anyone can elevate their game and derive even more joy from it with the proper guidance and practice. My commitment is to assist my students in achieving their goals and fostering a deep love for golf, just as I have. If you're ready to improve your swing, master your short game, or have more fun on the course, let's tee up and work on your game together!

What students say...

"My favorite part was how Sky carefully explained the basics like grip, stance, posture, and alignment while watching my swing closely. I liked trying different clubs to get a feel for each one. This session was very practical and well-paced. If you're looking to sharpen your fundamentals, definitely give Sky’s lessons a try! 😊

About Daniel

I've been playing pickleball since I was 8 years old, and over the years, it's become more than just a sport—it's a passion. With over 3 years of coaching experience, I love helping players of all levels grow their game, whether you're a total beginner, or an experienced player looking to sharpen your strategy and technique. Over the years I’ve won multiple 4.5-5.0 level gold medals, and coached many students to high level tournament success. I am currently Head Pro at Urban Pickleball, an indoor club in downtown Seattle, and I offer private coaching on the side. Let’s hit the courts and take your pickleball skills to the next level!

What students say...

"Wow, Daniel's lesson really helped me with precise adjustments for my kitchen play and serve , I appreciated the focus on technique but still feel I need to work on strategy, though. It’s encouraging, and I’d be open to trying another lesson to build on what I learned.

About Katya

I’m playing tennis for 19 years. 8 years coaching experience. Sometimes still participate in tournaments by myself. I provide advanced tennis lessons, as well as explanation how to enjoy the game and stay healthy.

What students say...

"The lesson with Katya was quite good. She was very patient with my son, who’s still new to tennis and had never held a racket before. She set clear goals that helped him feel at ease, and surprisingly, he started to follow her directions pretty well. Still, it was encouraging to see his comfort grow so quickly. If you're considering trying a lesson, Katya might be worth a shot.

About Charles

Baseball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing at the age of six, and from that moment on, the game became my passion. Growing up, I dedicated myself to improving every aspect of my play, developing a strong work ethic and competitive mindset that carried me through every level of the sport. I played college baseball at the University of San Francisco (USF), competing at a high level and refining my skills against top-tier competition. After my time at USF, I continued my career professionally playing in Mexico for 6 years and another in the Golden Baseball League, where I faced seasoned professionals and gained invaluable experience in the game. Throughout my journey, baseball has shaped me both on and off the field. It taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of teamwork. I’ve learned how to adapt under pressure, analyze situations strategically, and push myself beyond limits—qualities that I continue to apply in every aspect of my life and career. Whether it was grinding through long seasons, overcoming setbacks, or making game-changing plays, my time in baseball has been defined by commitment, perseverance, and a deep love for the game. It’s an experience that will always be a core part of who I am.
