With playing experience at the high school and college level as well as coaching experience with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, I look to share my knowledge of the game to help develop ball players. With my degree in psychology, I focus on also teaching the mental framework necessary to be a successful athlete. Currently I am a coach for the CGE 10u team in San Mateo. I am able to work with players at any age. I’m more than happy to work on any aspect of the game (hitting, fielding, catching, pitching).

I’m a former professional baseball player and current college coach who’s passionate about helping players reach their full potential. With years of experience on the field and in the cages, I’ve developed a teaching style that blends modern player-development concepts with old-school fundamentals. My lessons focus on: -Hitting Development: Building efficient, repeatable swing mechanics, developing bat speed and exit velocity, and mastering approach & mindset at the plate. -Infield & Defensive Work: Improving glove skills, footwork, throwing mechanics, and defensive IQ to help players become reliable game-changers in the field. -Athletic Strength & Movement: Training movement patterns that translate directly to performance on the diamond. I work with players of all ages and skill levels, tailoring each session to fit individual goals. My mission is simple: help you compete with confidence and unlock your best version as a ballplayer.

Going into my senior year of college playing and acting as the pitching captain for Lawrence University baseball, I’m passionate about data- driven results in velocity gain and injury prevention in pitchers. I’ve worked in a high performance facility with ages from high school through college, from all levels including D1, D2, and Junior college arms.

With over two decades dedicated to baseball, I foster growth through personalized coaching focusing on Mental Performance Mastery as well as Physical Skill Acquisition through a Constraints-Led Approach. This differs from traditional one-size-fits all coaching techniques, and really allows the individual to experience tremendous opportunities for growth. Hello all, my name is Riley Harwell. I’m a recent graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU) with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. I was a four-year starter for LSU’s Club Baseball Team, where I helped lead the team to two NCBA World Series appearances in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, I was honored as the MVP of the NCBA Wood Wars Tournament in West Monroe, Lousiana. Before college, I spent over 15 years competing in North Georgia for various teams in East Cobb and the surrounding areas, gaining valuable experience and developing a strong foundation in the game through consistent, high-level competition. I have a lifelong passion for both development and competition, and I’m always eager to share my knowledge of the game with anyone willing to learn. I anticipate providing lessons in hitting, playing the catcher position, or general Infield/outfield glove work and mechanics.
