I design structured yet adaptable lesson plans that strengthen fundamentals, refine advanced techniques, and build game intelligence. Beyond physical development, I emphasize confidence, discipline, and a strong understanding of the game that makes for qualities that help players succeed both on and off the field. I saw 7 of the kids I coached play DI baseball and one get drafted - 13th round of the 2025 MLB draft.

I have been playing baseball since the age of four, growing up as the son of a former professional baseball player who inspired my passion for the game. Throughout high school, I was a four-year varsity starter and had the opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally to compete at a high level. I am currently continuing my athletic and academic career as a college baseball player at Felician University. This background has taught me discipline, leadership, teamwork, a strong work ethic that I bring to everything I do and I am ready to pass it down to may need my help.

Hello, my name is Omar. I’m a motivated bilingual (English/Spanish) baseball instructor with hands-on experience coaching youth athletes and helping them develop their skills on and off the field. I focus on teaching the fundamentals of baseball—hitting, fielding, throwing, and mechanics—while creating a positive and supportive environment that builds confidence, improves performance, and helps athletes reach their full potential.

I coached softball and baseball for 10 total years (8-14 years old). I was a club baseball (Emerson Bandits) head coach for 3 years (14-16u). In the last 5 years I was an assistant varsity softball coach for 4 years at Westwood High School and last year I was named head varsity basbeall coach at Bergenfield High School. We won the BIT tournament in my first year and had a big turnaround season for that program. I have taught hitting for the past decade to all ages I am also a personal trainer for the past 25 years and I have owned a personal training facility for the past 19 years.
