Jordan played baseball at the University of Dallas, where he started for three seasons in centerfield and earned multiple accolades, including 3x All Conference, NCAA West All Region, NCAA All American, and 4x Academic All Conference honors. After graduating in 2019, he founded Styx Baseball Academy and began training youth players in the DFW area. In 2022, Jordan joined the University of Dallas coaching staff, where he currently leads both the offense and defense. During the 2024 season, he took over as the offensive coach, guiding UD to its best record in over a decade. Jordan also ranks 2nd in NCAA steals for 2019 and reached base safely in 57 consecutive games.

I also played for nationally ranked junior college during most five years thankfully my experience has taught me a lot about the game and has taught me a lot about what I need to share with the future of the game. On top of playing baseball for over 20 years I was just the coach at a small NAIA in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I learned even more valuable skill.

My experience includes coaching recreational leagues, select baseball, and Major League Baseballs RBI program. My coaching blends technical expertise in a student teacher environment. Todays era of youth baseball focuses on games and game situations, not the technical aspects and mechanics of how the game should be played. If you do not produce immediately, or show that you may not know what to do in a certain situation you could be subjected to ridicule and potentially a lack of playing time. I think that is wrong. Every single situation is a chance to learn through constant communication and practice, but since your kids game to practice schedule is 7-10:1 until they reach high school there is no time to learn the game unless you come to someone like me. Let me fill the void and help you grow the mental side of the game.

Drafted in the 8th round by the San Francisco Giants in 2015, Cory played for the organization from 2015 to 2019, showcasing his skills at the highest level. His journey continued with stints as a professional athlete for the Brisbane Bandits in Australia, the Sugarland Skeeters, and the Lake Country Dockhounds, where he displayed exceptional discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Throughout his career, Cory has earned numerous accolades, including being named Missouri Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week and twice recognized as an All-State Baseball Player in Oklahoma. These achievements highlight his dedication and ability to thrive in competitive environments. From the minor leagues to international play, Cory’s passion for baseball has been evident in his drive to grow, adapt, and inspire.
