For two decades, I've had the privilege of sharing my passion for baseball and helping athletes reach their full potential. My coaching philosophy centers around building a strong foundation of fundamentals, fostering a love for the game, and instilling confidence in every player.

I played professionally for 10 years. I was drafted in 2011 as the 42nd pick overall in the MLB draft to the Tampa Bay Rays. After retirement in 2020 I am seeking to pass my knowledge down to those who are looking to elevate their level of play. I was a pitcher, so pitching is my specialty. However, I have knowledge for the game as a whole and can help any kind of player achieve whatever it is they are looking to achieve.

Dedicated baseball coach with a lifelong passion for the sport. With a playing career spanning from youth leagues to college athletics, I've honed my skills as a pitcher and shortstop. My experience extends beyond playing, as I've also led group clinics for young athletes aged 5-19, developing a keen understanding of fundamental skills and mechanics. After serving in the military, I'm now focused on helping players of all ages reach their full potential. My coaching philosophy centers on building strong fundamentals, refining mechanics, and fostering a love for the game. I'm committed to empowering players to succeed and sharing my expertise to help them achieve their goals. I’ve played two years of minor league baseball. I’ve coached for 10 years at the college and high school level. I’ve started a developmental league for inner city kids n north and northeast Portland.

I’ve started playing baseball since I was in kindergarten roughly 18 years ago. In high school I was one of Oregons top players. Also was awarded player of the north when I played in the senior all star games. There I was talked to by many colleges but due to COVID I could only make it into junior college. After two years of college, I ended up going a different route. Where I ended up in the trades. but something was missing. I couldn’t give up the sport. I’m in a men’s league here in Portland where I get to keep enjoying the game. But now with all of my knowledge of the game, I want to share it. Maybe show someone how to love the game as I do.

My passion for baseball has only grown over 20 years of coaching. I empower players of all ages and skill levels to reach their full potential on and off the field. I provide full custom throwing programs, drill and bullpen review/guidance, lifting plans tailored to your individual needs, and nutritional plans to optimize your recovery and peak shape. A little about myself, I was a tall, skinny, unathletic high schooler throwing 81-84 my senior year of high school with little to no interest from schools. I knew I had the talent somewhere inside me, I just didn’t know how to get there. A walk on at a small mid major I was about to get cut, but in 4 months I went from 82-85 to 90-92. Fast forward 2 years I went from walk on to being drafted by the Colorado Rockies. 2 years after that I began training all levels of players from middle school all the way to current professionals. What pitching coaches won’t tell you is that learning the correct way to throw is only about half the battle. The other half is getting after it in the weight room, in the kitchen, and most importantly in your own head.
