My name is Dawson Phok. I am a Greensboro native and have been playing/studying the game of basketball for 15+ Years. I have experience working with and developing children into focused athletes through my work at the YMCA. I place emphasis on mindset, discipline, and detail in movement. I will make your child better on and off the court and teach the importance of consistency and longevity.

For kids with a love (or budding love) for the game, I want to help them unlock a love for the process of learning, growing, and improving. Training with me means focusing on progress you can see, competing against your own best efforts, and always knowing why you’re doing something. When players feel their growth and understand their purpose, the hard work starts to click—and that’s how they fall in love with the process. Basketball has been a huge part of my journey. From competing at the NCAA level and earning tournament honors to being a two-time high school MVP, the game has shaped who I am. I’ve also had the privilege of running youth camps in China and Hungary, sharing the love of basketball with kids from all over.
