My passion lies in helping dancers of all levels discover their artistry by providing personalized guidance to achieve their goals. Denise Brown, a 2015 BFA graduate from Howard University with a focus in musical theater, is a multifaceted performer and educator. She has graced prestigious stages like the Apollo Theater and the Kennedy Center, honing her craft under dance icons such as Ray Mercer and Ronald K Brown. With a vast repertoire of over 20 years in dance, spanning Ballet, Jazz, Modern, African, Hip-Hop, Burlesque, and Yoga, Denise is a versatile artist. Her teaching journey includes working with all age groups, from 7-month-old children in movement classes to seniors, encompassing fitness, gymnastics, and a range of dance styles.

As a young dancer, into a competitive teen dancer and later a professional dancer of stage, film and tv, I always was told that my body type would never find a place in this industry of performing arts. This would crush me every time, so I decided to redirect my love for dance arts and created my own academy. Performing gave me a freedom unlike any other art form I have ever experienced and I wanted to pass that love on. Here is when you get to be part of my dream, teaching dance and opening my own academy creating ADA 6 years ago was not only a goal, but a mission. My goal is to guide dance enthusiasts with respect , proper training, positive reinforcement and passion.
