For over 25 years, I've lived and breathed dance, training consistently since a small child and then receiving my BFA in dance before performing professionally for 5 years and teaching for 10. My passion lies in helping dancers of all levels discover their artistry by providing personalized guidance to achieve their goals. I specialize in ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz creative dance and acro and dance fitness. I look forward to working with you!

Denise Brown, a 2015 BFA graduate from Howard University with a focus in musical theater, is a multifaceted performer and educator. She has graced prestigious stages like the Apollo Theater and the Kennedy Center, honing her craft under dance icons such as Ray Mercer and Ronald K Brown. With a vast repertoire of over 20 years in dance, spanning Ballet, Jazz, Modern, African, Hip-Hop, Burlesque, and Yoga, Denise is a versatile artist. Her teaching journey includes working with all age groups, from 7-month-old children in movement classes to seniors, encompassing fitness, gymnastics, and a range of dance styles.

Kevin Williams grew up in the Bronx NY. He graduated from Hofstra University, receiving his B.S. in Dance Education. He has trained vigorously in many styles including Ballet, Ballroom, Modern, Jazz, and Hip Hop, under the direction of Sharon Simmons, Penelope Kalloo, Rachel List, and Stormy Brandenberger, and many others. Williams received his initial training at Just the Place Inc. in Bronx NY, where he was a Dance Instructor, teaching Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop to students ages 6-25. While in High School, he joined the Gestures Dance Company under the direction of Nina Klyvert-Lawson, He worked with many renowned choreographers such as Darrell Moultrie and Amy Hall, (both graduates of Julliard) and Damazi Williams. At Hofstra, Williams had the opportunity to perform works of Sean Curran, Amy Marshall, Frederick Earl Mosley, and Stormy Brandenberger, among others. Upon graduating Hofstra University Williams joined the Amy Marshall Dance Company. He also started teaching as a Dance Educator at LION Charter School in the Bronx NY. Williams is the director of the Liturgical Dance Ministry in his church. His vision is to keep the dance art form as an important way to communicate with God and to minister to people around the world. In 2019 Williams co-founded Soul Dance Co.: The Soul Experience with Cory”Nova” Villegas and Kaila Skates as Co- Artistic Director. He is grateful that God has set him on this path and looks forward to what’s coming.

My journey began with ballet, tap, ballroom, and jazz, and as I transitioned into my late teens, I discovered a profound love for ballroom dance, swiftly leading to my role as an instructor. Beyond the studio, I've showcased my talent on the popular platform of MTV’s 'The Grind' during the mid to late 90s. Catering to a myriad of dance enthusiasts since 1994, I'm dedicated to uniting people in the shared joy of dance. My goal? To spread the exhilaration and connection dance brings, and to see that timeless twinkle in the eyes of those who find their groove. Let's step, sway, and celebrate together!

Dancing has been my passion since I can think, and I’ve always known that I’m happiest making it my profession! I’ve been lucky to learn from some of the most influential accomplished teachers and artists and love sharing my knowledge and love for dance. It’s important to me to build a good connection with the student to bring out the best in them while having fun. I would describe my teaching as very motivational and positive! The main goal is to have fun while reaching your goals. Focusing a lot on musicality, movement research and expression through dance if that’s something the students are interested in. Otherwise getting a good workout in is always a good reason to take class!
