Back in 2017, I had the privilege of volunteering as a health & wellness advisor for a D1 Women’s Golf Team for a semester. Before diving into our first lesson, I always start with an assessment to understand each player's personality, their mental game approach, and the unique ways in which they learn. From that foundation, our inaugural lesson will focus on observation—watching how you swing or play. After which, we circle back to mastering the fundamentals, complete with personalized drills. You get to decide the lesson's focus, be it putting, chipping, short game, or even a 9-hole playing lesson, all based on your golf aspirations. I believe in nurturing from within first.
