"Rian was awesome!! I told him specifically what I wanted to work on and understand how to fix it while on the course. We got straight to it, within 5 minutes he was able to identify some of my gaps with my swing and pinpoint how to fix it. He was very straight forward with clear instructions, easy to understand. He recorded my swings and showed me the wrongs, rights and progression throughout my sessions. Hitting off grass was also a plus, great vibe, great conversations, he knows his stuff. "I’ve asked Jay regarding one review that’s gotten 1 star rating… Not to badmouth anyone here, but it’s very misleading to just hear one side of the story so I’m putting down a review so you guys can decide. What Jay told me happened was that this particular student told through the app that she never needed equipments. So then, of course Jay or any instructor will come empty handed. Then first thing she told him was “I don’t have any clubs” and that’s how their lesson started off. After one hour, she told him how willing she was to take two instead of one lesson a week so she can develop faster. So Jay planned her curriculum accordingly. But at the end, she didn’t explain her text thoroughly regarding getting lessons and he ended up preparing as if he would see her. And then the rest happened. My personal experience with jay is just like the rest of the people here. Absolutely amazing of a coach!

Whichever golf equipment you have will be sufficient. I do recommend a golf glove so we can get a good grip on the club, comfortable shoes(does not have to be golf shoes) something with a harder toe just for the finish.

I recommend sneakers or golf shoes, a glove, weather appropriate clothing and a water bottle. The thirst is real. I recommend a little bit of stretching before you arrive and come a little early to get balls and get sorted. We went to get the most out of each lesson.
