Hi, I'm Nicholas. I studied golf course management at Uconn. After graduating, I worked at several top-notch country clubs in New England, initially in Assistant Superintendent capacity and later as an Assistant Pro. This experience gave me a deep understanding of all aspects of golf. Sharing my skills and knowledge with my students is something I'm truly passionate about. With 20 years of experience playing golf and training under a PGA professional (my father!), I offer a unique approach to instruction. I use a variety of techniques to help you discover your natural swing and achieve your full potential on the course.

"Although I could use more lessons, Mike understands the body and how to develop your natural swing for power and accuracy. He teaches a lot about tempo, unique strengthening and it's almost like meditation. An interesting teaching method I have never witnessed before.

Experienced Golfer with 25+ years of experience. Specializing in core golf techniques and simplicity. Frequent use of golf training aids. I'm an avid student of the game, having studied under several club pros for many years. With beginning Golfers, I start with the basics, like grip alignment, posture, and stance. From there we build to the full swing. For the intermediate and more advanced golfer, I like to cover the basics and then move into the full swing, including the takeaway, back turn, shoulder rotation, hip rotation, downswing, proper ball contact, and follow-through—pronation and supination of the wrists. For children, the important thing is to make it fun. I will also work with you on chipping pitching, sand shots, and putting—lastly course management and golf etiquette. I like using videotape where appropriate.

I am a PGA specialized professional in Teaching & Coaching and board certified sport psychology consultant. I have been a PGA of America member since 2011 and teaching for close to 10 years. I have worked at many upscale clubs in the Met section at such roles as shop assistant, assistant and teaching professional. I have played in local PGA sanctioned events and am working to be certified as Golf fitness trainer by National Academy of Sport Medicine. I have the ultimate goal within a couple years of achieving the status of Master PGA golf professional in Teaching & Coaching. I also have developed a benchmark for sport psychology based on Individual Zone of Optimal Functioning for a golfer to obtain their ideal zone
