Experienced Golfer with 25+ years of experience. Specializing in core golf techniques and simplicity. Frequent use of golf training aids. I'm an avid student of the game, having studied under several club pros for many years. With beginning Golfers, I start with the basics, like grip alignment, posture, and stance. From there we build to the full swing. For the intermediate and more advanced golfer, I like to cover the basics and then move into the full swing, including the takeaway, back turn, shoulder rotation, hip rotation, downswing, proper ball contact, and follow-through—pronation and supination of the wrists. For children, the important thing is to make it fun. I will also work with you on chipping pitching, sand shots, and putting—lastly course management and golf etiquette. I like using videotape where appropriate.

Ki also scored on an average of 70.59 while he was competing in mini-tournaments nationwide. He has worked with a number of PGA tour coaches such as Mike Bender, Todd Anderson, and Chris Como. He has also worked with well-known short-game coaches like James Sieckmann and David Orr. Every now and then, he travels to Texas University to study and gain more knowledge and experience in golf under Director and Professor of Kinesiology, Dr. Kwon. Currently, Ki is now a certified instructor under the famous PGA tour coach, Dana Dahlquist. It is no doubt that Ki is an experienced player. He understands and is familiar with all the new technologies such as Trackman, Flightscope, GCquad, as well as Swing Catalyst training tools. Most importantly, he understands the biomechanics of the body which ultimately help you with the game of golf. Ki believes in a holistic approach to golf instruction and takes a great deal of pride in coaching and mentoring his students. He enjoys working with every level of golfers and helping them achieve their goals.

Peter Stern is a native Long Islander, who upon graduation from Sachem High School, attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. It was in his senior year at Lynn University that Peter began his love for teaching golf, assisting at the DAVE PELZ SCORING GAME SCHOOL. After two years with Dave Pelz, Peter went on to teach NICKLAUS/FLICK instruction at the Golden Bear Golf Center in Cypress Creek, Florida. Peter returned to Long Island in 2002 and the PETER STERN GOLF ACADEMY was born.
