My experiences have led me to meet and work with some great musicians. I have original music of mine in TV shows, movies, and commercials. U have played all over the U.S.A. and Ireland. I am frequent performer in New York City music venues. And I have taught many students from beginning to intermediate the joys of this great instrument. Gary Rosenak is a guitarist, composer, educator based in New York City. He holds a BA, in Jazz Guitar Performance from Wichita State University, Masters of Music in Jazz Studies, and Advanced Certification in Teaching from NYU. He has studied guitar privately with: Peter Bernstein, Mike Moreno, and Wayne Krantz, and has studied composition and arranging privately with Gil Goldstein and Alan Ferber. Gary is an accomplished guitar instructor with 10 years of teaching experience who enjoys working with students of all ages and levels, and he cultivates a passion for music, and playing guitar through individualized tailored lessons. He has taught as an adjunct guitar instructor at New York University, and also served as a Volunteer virtual guitar instructor for Guitars4Vets, which provides music therapy healing through the joy of learning music for Veterans dealing with PTSD. Gary served as Guitarist/Band Leader and Musical Director for the US Air Force Bands in Northern California and Japan, where he also produced four Rock/Pop CD recording projects for the Air Force. Gary also performed weekly as a versatile guitarist, playing jazz, R&B and rock in the house band at the Silverado Resort in Napa, CA for over nine years. As part of the Air Force Band, Gary toured extensively in the United States, Europe, and Japan, as well as performances in Korea, Singapore, Turkey, and Bangladesh. He has also performed in such prestigious venues as the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Dresden Opera House and the Blue Note, NYC. Gary continues to perform jazz trio gigs and solo guitar gigs around NYC.

Hi! My name is Ryan, and I'm a musician and guitar teacher from NYC. I graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 2019 with a B.A. in Music. I have been teaching music for 10 years at all levels in a wide variety of settings. I want to help you learn the music you want to play, and give you the skills you need to become your own lifelong teacher! Together, we will create a customized curriculum informed by your musical goals and my decade of teaching experience. I teach a variety of styles and genres, including (but not limited to) rock, pop, jazz, blues, funk, R&B, soul, jazz fusion, folk, bluegrass, and hip hop. As a Mexican-American composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, I've dedicated my life to creating captivating music that resonates with audiences worldwide. Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, USA, I embarked on my musical journey early, eventually earning a bachelor's degree in classical composition from Georgia State University. Under the guidance of esteemed mentors like Dr. Nickitas Demos and Dr. Robert Scott Thompson, I honed my craft and explored diverse musical styles. At GSU, I performed on trombone, guitar, and tenor voice in various ensembles, showcasing my versatility and passion for music. Continuing my education, I pursued a master's degree in classical composition at the Manhattan School of Music, studying with renowned composers such as Susan Botti and Reiko Füting. 🎵 Alongside my academic pursuits, I've collaborated with acclaimed artists and bands, including Planet PXL and Misty Eyed, showcasing my talents as a session guitarist and keyboardist.
