Hi, Iām Rian Weston-Dodds, Iāve been playing for over 5 years now coaching for about 2. Iāve had a career high DUPR rating of over 5.0 and have coached at various locations including Picklemall, Life Time, the Picklr, and now soon Dink and Dine. I'm PPR certified, with 70 matches logged in DUPR from leagues and tournaments. I specialize in helping beginners players get a handle on the game, and also the intermediate players with strategy and technical aspects. I look forward to working with you on the court! At the moment, the Mountainside Fitness on Frank Lloyd Wright is the easiest way to get a an indoor court during the summer, free for members and only $10 for non members. It is on a basketball court but it works fine for practice. Otherwise, The Orchard Indoor Pickleball Private Event Venue by Talking Stick resort is also a good option for a rentable, authentic indoor court. But it does cost $30 for an hour. If you have your own private court let me know, otherwise many public courts get busy in the early mornings and afternoons but often times Ashler Hills usually has an open court.
"Rian is a fantastic coach who offers clear and practical advice during our pickleball lessons. I enjoyed how he adjusts strategies on the spot to help improve the game. His guidance really helped me play better and feel more confident on the court. If you want to develop your skills in a supportive way, Rianās lessons are definitely worth trying.
