"I signed my 9 year old up for private lessons with Selina in January. We invited 2 of her buddies to join the lessons to keep them engaged and having fun together. The two girls had no experience with a racket sport. My kiddo had previously taken tennis lessons. We are 4 months in and the girls are having a blast! They have all shown improvement and are just as engaged in learning as they were on day one. Selina is fun, patient and encouraging while being professional. I appreciate that she starts with a quick warm-up, does drills and has the girls playing as if it were a real game to teach them how to keep score. Chicken and Pickle is a great venue but Selina is the icing on the cake! I think everyone, young and old can benefit from lessons, whether it’s to learn, brush up on your skills, hone in on your form or correct bad habits you never knew you had! My child is learning a life skill that she can take with her throughout life.
