Currently I am an NCCP certified pickleball coach in Canada. I'm deeply involved in the world of Pickleball, having started playing in 2019 and achieving a rating over 4.5. I involved a lot of Pickleball training video-making which brought me a lot of experience teaching the right techniques and game experience to players with various level. My tournament journey includes a second-place finish in men's singles at the Kamloops Legacy Performance tournament in 2019, as well as two gold medals in singles and mixed doubles at "Battle of the West -Iced Out" Tournament held in Missisauga. Sharon holds an Honours Specialist in Physical and Health Education and brings over 30 years of teaching and coaching experience across multiple sports, including volleyball, basketball, softball, and badminton. She has played Pickleball for over a decade, taught it at the high school level, and currently runs a weekly Pickleball Drop-In where she coaches beginners and advises intermediate players on strategy and technique. I’m a Level II certified pickleball coach who has taught more than 1,000 players and helped build two of the largest pickleball communities in North America. I’ve competed at a high level, winning gold at the 2023 Ontario Provincial Championships (Men’s Doubles 50+, DUPR 4.6). What makes me a good coach is my ability to break down skills clearly, teach with patience, and help players improve quickly through purposeful drilling and game-based learning.
