As a multi-faceted artist, I've had the privilege of exploring various facets of the performing arts, including acting, composing, singing, music, writing, conducting, and educating. From embodying Langston Hughes in Carlyle Brown's "Are You Now, Or Have You Ever Been" to portraying Walter Lee Younger in "A Raisin In The Sun," I've shared my passion with audiences at renowned venues like Stage West and WaterTower Theatre. On screen, you may have caught me in episodes of the HBO series "Random Acts Of Flyness." My commitment to social justice led me to perform my one-man show "#BlandJustice" at Dallas' Black Academy of Arts and Letters. My musical journey has taken me to prestigious stages like Carnegie Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Trained at institutions such as Juilliard School and Drew Theological Seminary, I've also shared my knowledge as a voice and piano instructor at esteemed institutions like Booker T. Washington HSPVA. Proudly affiliated with Actors' Equity Association, I continue to strive for excellence in both my artistry and advocacy endeavors.

My journey as a Classically trained singer ignited a passion for unlocking vocal potential in others. With 11 years of experience, I guide singers to discover their unique voices. I am currently finishing my Master’s degree in vocal performance and the genres of my expertise are; gospel, jazz, r&b, contemporary and classical/opera. As a nationally recognized vocalist, musician, and artist, I've dedicated over three decades to the art of teaching. With a Master's degree and certifications across various art disciplines, I've had the privilege of instructing in public, private nonprofit, and overseas educational settings. My contributions to the arts extend beyond the classroom, as I've been honored as a lifetime member of Continental Who's Who and have published poetry and co-authored a book in 2022. I'm passionate about nurturing talent and inspiring creativity in my students, guiding them to artistic excellence.

My musical odyssey began in a home filled with melodies. Since the tender age of 6, I've been immersed in the world of song. Choirs became my training ground, and during high school, vocal competitions fueled my passion. My journey took an exciting turn in college, where leading choirs marked the beginning of my teaching endeavors. The stage expanded nationally as I sang at renowned venues and even ventured into the world of record labels. I was asked to sign with Arista Records as part of an a cappella men's group. I've graced TV and radio stages in my adult life, but my true passion lies in helping others unlock their vocal potential.
