It was magical evening. They played Sunshine Superman, Mellow Yellow and the evening culminated with an extended jam of Season of the Witch. I’m sure it’s still playing somewhere in the universe. From traditional Robert Johnson Style Blues to Stan Getz on the Saxophone to the Talking Heads, Jay traverses any genre with tasteful appreciation. Over the years I’ve never hesitated to call Jay for musical advice, emergency musical first aid or continuing education; and he has never hesitated to help.
