I come from a soccer background. Watching my father coach and play and my brother play up until it was my turn to start my journey when teams were available. My father has won multiple state cup championships and is currently a scout and trainer for the New York Redbulls as well as coaching two teams at Trumbull United. I played for him for 5 years, from the age of 6-11, playing 3 years up and winning two state cups with that team. I then transitioned to beachside for two years. From there i played at south central academy. I was the 2nd person in the history of Trumbull high to make varsity as a freshman and went on to be the leading goal scorer in the fciac as a freshman. I left Trumbull high and went to south kent boarding school where i would go on to win two national championships and multiple regional nepsac championships under the legendary coach Owen Finberg. After that, i went on to play college soccer. I am currently still in college and playing at the upsl level as well as usl2. I had ankle surgery over the fall, so i will not be playing this school year. I have more than enough time to give my all to coaching and developing the next generation. Soccer is my passion and in my blood. Being a current player at a high level and playing amongst the top in the country has given me knowledge of the game that you cannot simply learn by watching videos or reading a textbook. I have a lot to offer having played striker, cdm, left back, wingback, my entire career.

With my 9 years of soccer experience, I plan to teach others and help them grow within the beautiful sport of soccer! I have been playing soccer since I was 8 years old. My passion led me to play and compete in the Central Jersey Finals for Hopewell Valley Central High School and furthermore become a 4 Year starter at Moravian College (Moravian University). After college, I acquired my certification from the USSF - United States Soccer Federation to be a licensed coach, and NASM - National Academy for Sports Medicine to be a certified CPT/PES/CES. I currently use my qualified background to help athletes become performance ready. Under my training, athletes become faster, stronger, and fitter. Additionally, I am able to help prevent injuries and accelerate any recovery process through my love of strength and conditioning. In my philosophy, I like to take a different approach then most in the realm of youth athletics. I’m attempting to change the game by taking a holistic approach to the student-athlete, focusing on the student as much as the athlete. The sole mission is to foster participants in both the athletic and academic platform with the idea of the highest levels of personal success to be achieved. This is not just a temporary fix; it is a lifestyle change and a way of life. I’m committed to community service, social change, and a better tomorrow! My holistic training approach develops athletes not only technically, but also physically, and tactically. I have helped propel athletes of all ages and skill levels - from 5-year-old recreational players to 22-year-old pros. Alec Schwartzman is a professional soccer player with experience across the U.S. and Europe. He played NCAA Division I soccer at Army West Point for two years before continuing his career in Poland and later training with Atlético Madrid’s C team in Spain. Alec has competed at high levels of the game in multiple countries, gaining a deep understanding of training, performance, and the mental aspects required to succeed on and off the field.

I am Matthew, a 23-year-old college student who is getting their BA in psychology and has played soccer since I was 4 years old on various teams at different levels. I have played on rec teams, travel teams, and high school teams. I decided to stop playing and become a coach over the past two years, and have coached multiple teams, both indoor and futsal. I recently acquired my US Soccer Grassroots Coaching License and am en route to getting my D Coaching License. I am a passionate person about soccer, and as a coach, you will get someone who pays attention to the small things, focuses on the basics, as well as mentally makes sure the player is always ready for a game.
