I am a former top-ranked junior and NCAA Division 1 tennis player with extensive international and collegiate experience. I achieved an ITF ranking of #183 and a UTR of 13.62. I was ranked as a Blue Chip Recruit and among the Top 10 NCAA D1 recruits in 2018, I went on to play for Florida Atlantic University (FAU), competing primarily at the #1 and #2 singles spots. I trained under renowned coach Nick Saviano for several years, refining my technical and tactical skills at the highest level. I also worked at the Evert Tennis Academy for 3 years, coaching high-level juniors and serving as a hitting partner for Victoria Azarenka. Now, as a private coach, I focus on helping highly-ranked junior players unlock their full potential and achieve their tennis goals. Combining my extensive playing experience with deep technical knowledge, my coaching philosophy emphasizes mental toughness, strategic play and most importantly, personalized attention to ensure that each player receives the tailored guidance needed to succeed at the highest level.

For over 55 years, my love for tennis has fueled my journey from a D1 athlete to a dedicated coach. I specialize in nurturing technique and strategy. I'm committed to helping players of all levels unlock their full potential and achieve their goals on the court.

As a college player turned professional, I've traversed courts across South America and Europe, honing my skills and gaining invaluable experience. Transitioning into coaching, I've worked with diverse groups, from recreational players to high-performance athletes, instilling not just technique and tactics, but also a deep-seated Methodist approach to the game. My coaching philosophy centers on maximizing intensity to unlock each player's full potential, while also imparting essential values for on and off-court success. Holding USPTA certification, I'm dedicated to shaping well-rounded individuals, both as players and as people.
"_"I’ve had the privilege of watching Nick teach for a while now, and I can honestly say he’s one of the best coaches I’ve encountered. His technical knowledge is top-notch, but it’s his ability to connect with players and make lessons enjoyable that really sets him apart. He has an incredible way of breaking down complex concepts into bite-sized, actionable steps. He’s not only a great coach but also a great team player, always willing to collaborate and share ideas. Any player would be lucky to have him as their coach." – Tim L., Fellow Tennis Professional

Joseph Schraffa’s life has been shaped by tennis from an early age, with a racquet in his hand by the time he was two. Growing up in a tennis-focused family, his mother, a teaching pro, introduced him to the sport, and his passion for it blossomed quickly. By his freshman year, he was playing varsity tennis, and his high school team was consistently among the top contenders in the Cal’s state and regional tournaments. His mother and sister teamed up to have a rank of #7 in the nation for mother daughter Baha Mar Cup, Nassau Bahamas.* Schraffa honed his skills at the renowned Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, known for producing elite players, including 10 World 1 players. His dedication paid off when he earned a full scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With over 30 years of experience, Schraffa has worked as a tennis pro, coaching and teaching at Thompson Country Club. His expertise spans coaching, teaching, and tournament play, and he remains actively involved in the USTA, continuing to contribute to the tennis community.

Tennis has been my lifeblood since the age of 4. Growing up, I proudly represented Ukraine on the national junior team, consistently ranking among the top 3 players in my country. My passion and talent led me to compete at the Division 1 collegiate level, playing for a top 50 NCAA team. My college career was marked by both individual and team success, including victories in prize money tournaments and championship titles in the Big South and Sun Belt conferences. Now, I'm eager to share my wealth of experience and inspire others to reach their full potential on the court.
"Yevhen is an outstanding pro. He has a tremendous understanding of the technical aspects of tennis and how to translate that knowledge to players of all levels. He’s a pleasure personally as well. I recommend him without reservation.

For two decades, I've fostered a love of tennis in students of all levels. My experienced playing background informs my teaching, focusing on technique and strategy. I aim to make every lesson engaging and fun.
I’m Joao Silverio, an ATP/ITF-experienced coach now based in Boca Raton, Florida. My coaching was shaped in high-performance, Grand Slam-level training environments and built around one core principle: progress should be structured, measurable, and repeatable. Most players don’t stall because they lack effort, they stall because training lacks priorities, clear decisions, and a system. At JSTA, I help juniors and competitive adults develop with purpose: clean technique, smarter patterns, stronger movement, and match habits that hold under pressure. If you want high standards, clear direction, and a development plan you can trust, message me to set up a session.
"My son needed structure and direction, not just hitting. Joao gave him a clear plan: weekly priorities, simple tasks, and how to compete calmly. You can tell he’s coached at a high level, he fixes what matters without overloading the player. Now we have a pathway and we’re seeing real progress.
Passion into precision, I bring 15 years of experience as a tennis player. As a current professional tennis player I would love to share my experience and knowledge on my free time to any ages! Technical mastery with a fun, engaging approach, tailored to help you reach your full potential and have the most fun whatever your level. Let's unlock your inner champion together!
