Bio: I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old in Brazil. I got to #12 in the country U16 and #800 in the world U18. I later played at UAB (D1 college) where I was the captain of the tennis team. During the summers I would teach large groups from all ages and private lessons as well. I love to be able to teach someone the proper technique to maximize their potential and I care a lot about my students. I have experience in clay and hard courts and I would say my style of play is lots of spin, consistency, energy, and focus on the serve. Bio: Rachel Cross joined the Tufts women's tennis coaching staff in the spring of 2023 after starring for the Ephs of Williams College over the from 2018-2021. As a member of the Williams tennis team, she was nominated for the NESCAC Senior Sportswoman All-Conference Award, while also earning a spot on the NESCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team. Cross played No. 2 singles and doubles for the Ephs, and was part of a 2018 NESCAC title-winning squad and NCAA semifinalist team. Cross was a team captain her senior season at Williams, and was the only player to win the team-awarded Torrence M. Hunt Tennis Award, given to the player who made a significant contribution to the team. Cross was a singles All-American in 2018, and was nominated for the Universal Tennis Ranking Player to Watch honor which is given to a freshman at college with great potential. A Dean's List honoree for six semesters at Williams, Cross was a three-time ITA All-Academic and Scholar honoree, while earning ITA D3 Scholar-Athlete and NESCAC All-Academic laurels as well. Cross graduated from Williams with a degree in biology.

With over 15 years of experience in the tennis business, Phil leads a team of certified professionals dedicated to teaching both tennis and pickleball. The Longfellow Programs provide a clear pathway for players of all levels to start, grow, and continually improve their skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Phil and his team are committed to creating a great experience for all players, helping them to not only learn but also develop a love for the game.

Bio: My name is Julian Wong and I am a senior and high school. I have been playing tennis for over 12 years and am currently ranked 12th in Massachusetts for the class of 2025. I am a member of the New England tennis academy and understand the modern game of tennis. I have over 2 years of coaching experience and am excited to help you improve your game.

Bio: I’ve been coaching tennis for over 30 years and hold the highest certifications from both PTR and USPTA. I can be hired to teach as well as hit and play against you. I’ve worked at various clubs and camps as well as working as a head men’s tennis coach at a local college. Currently, I coach at a private club in Chestnut Hill, where I help players of all levels achieve their best on the court.

Bio: Having honed my skills on the court since childhood, I'm a current college tennis player with 12 years of experience coaching aspiring athletes of all ages and skill levels. My passion lies in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can develop their game, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun.

Bio: I’m Nico, I’m originally from Australia and now i’m a college player at Tufts University. I teach all ages and generally operate with a style that involves mostly hitting, with feeding and coaching involved as well.
