About my tennis style and teaching- you will learn any style you like that fits your game, using spin and slices as well as being eclectic and /or conventional ... and how to develop a technically sound serve ( the serve in tennis is one of or the most important elements if you like to be very competitive). ♣ Teaching philosophy is-- (based around student and teacher-centered approach): I do not like to talk much during the session( I don't over/or under coach but I give you what you need to be ) Despite-- I emphasize a lot on the technique and repetitions so you can improve in the right way, while having fun. -- and after finishing the lessons, the students will have an idea on what they need to do to become good recreational players, or advanced or professional players, and what their strengths and weaknesses are... from which they will be able to diagnose their own game. ♣ Personal --I'm also multilingual-- graduate student (I have a minor, BA, MA---,(and PhD is my next goal. * I taught tennis in high school as well - private school - and all my students said that I'm the best coach they have ever had . ♣I love fitness, organic food, and my favorite sport is gymnastics which is the only complete sport and most difficult to master. I actually didn't like tennis much when I first started at 8 years old - I'd swing, look around for the ball and find it stuck in the throat of my racquet. I was a high-level ITF junior player, having coached by world-class coaches at Club Med Academies for almost 2 years and went through intense training throughout my childhood. I have experiences in competing in ITF touraments, Men's Open, USTA Tourneys, Futures and Challenger qualifying round. One of my biggest achievements was to win the Junior Davis Cup for Vietnam in Group 2 multiple times to push our country to Group 1.
